The Kriega Hydro RACE is a lightweight competition pack designed to serve all-day hydration to hardcore off-road racers. It has already been used for a Red Bull Romaniacs top three ride by Kriega ambassador Pol Tarrés, and helped the elite racing brothers Mitch and Ashton Brightmore secure podium finishes in the FIM Hard Enduro championship.
The Hydro RACE features an innovative, buckle-free harness design that offers a combination of firm, bounce-free hold and breathability. The harness is secured with an elastic loop that is easy to hook or remove, even with cold, wet, tired fingers.
A heavy-duty 3-litre HydraPak® is included as standard. This large, military-spec reservoir is baffled to help keep the load stable and low-profile, while the insulated drinks tube keeps water cool, and has a magnetic attachment to secure it to the strap.
Reducing fatigue is key for all riders, but especially enduro racers, and the Hydro RACE harness is designed to spread the load and eliminate pressure points, just like all Kriega’s harness designs. The Hydro RACE harness straps are made from a breathable mesh for increased air flow.
Additionally, the new hydration pack features a Cordura® rear net for storing items like waterproof layers or spare gloves, or for incorporating one of the range of Hydro RACE accessories (see below).

HYDRO RACE ACCESSORIES
The launch of the Hydro RACE is supported with a range of five accessories, four of which have been designed to work exclusively with the new pack.
RACE POCKET replaces the elasticated cord that fastens the harness together. Secured with a double YKK® zip, it’s ideal to hold nutrition gels and bars or other items that might need to be grabbed in a hurry.
RACE POUCH is a tough, zipped organiser that fits tightly into the elasticated rear net. It secures smaller essentials that might otherwise slip out of the net. It comes in a choice of four colours: Black, Lime, Orange and Coyote.
RACE POUCH DRYPACK is the 100% waterproof option when it comes to adding carrying capacity to the Hydro RACE. It has a roll-top closure and white, taped seam liner, like all our waterproof Drypack luggage range. It also comes in a choice of four colours: Black, Lime, Orange and Coyote.
RACE NUMBER BOARD is a customisable, polypropylene panel that comes blank for riders to add their race number, logos or graphics. It fastens to the pack using the rear net’s clips. Kriega’s website has a template to supply to graphics companies for them to produce vinyl graphics of the correct size and shape.
RACE HANDS-FREE KIT Designed for racing conditions when it’s essential to keep both hands on the handlebars and concentrate on riding. This kit extends the Hydro RACE drinks tube, positioning the soft bite valve permanently near the rider’s mouth, giving fast, hands-free hydration.
